How the crew works on an exterior job
Every exterior job runs in the same order. Walk the house, mark what is failing, then prep. Scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, spot-priming every bare spot. Stucco cracks get repaired and the texture matched before a finish coat goes anywhere near them. Material that is past repair gets replaced instead of painted over. Failed exterior paint is a prep problem, not a paint problem. Prep is what decides how long the new finish holds.
The crew works one elevation at a time instead of jumping around the house. Prep, prime, coat, then move. That keeps a wet edge under control and keeps the rest of the property clear while work is going. Plants, windows, walkways and hardscape get covered before anything is sprayed or rolled. A single-story exterior usually runs three to five working days including prep.
